Runway

Runway is a local-first macOS app that monitors AI provider usage, predicts limits, and helps you plan work across multiple LLM providers.

Know how far your AI usage will take you.

Runway is a local-first macOS app that brings your AI provider usage into one clear dashboard. Monitor limits, understand your usage pace, plan upcoming work, and avoid reaching a provider limit halfway through an important session.

Connect supported AI subscriptions and API accounts—including Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Moonshot, xAI, Z.AI, and GitHub Copilot—and view the available usage information from one place. Data availability varies by provider and account type.

Stay ahead of your limits

Runway goes beyond showing percentages. Usage Runway compares how much of a limit you have used with how much time has elapsed, helping you identify providers that may run out before their next reset.

Predictive notifications can alert you when a provider is approaching its projected limit, while provider handoff recommendations help you choose another connected provider with more available capacity.

Plan your AI-powered work

Runway includes three planning tools:

  • Quick Session recommends a suitable provider for your next work session.
  • Capacity Schedule distributes planned work across available provider capacity.
  • Workflow assigns providers to stages such as research, planning, implementation, and review.

Planning is calculated locally from your available usage information. Runway does not send AI prompts or consume provider tokens to create these plans.

Understand where your usage goes

Track local AI activity by provider and project, review usage trends, set project targets, and compare supported models using public ranking information.

Runway is designed to help you answer practical questions: Which provider needs attention? How long will my available capacity last? Which provider should I use next? Where are my tokens being spent?

Private by design

Runway processes usage, project, planning, and workflow information locally on your Mac. Provider credentials and your Runway Pro licence are protected using macOS Keychain. Runway does not operate a central database containing your prompts, transcripts, project paths, or provider usage history.

Free to start. Upgrade when you need more.

Use Runway’s essential provider monitoring features for free. Unlock Runway Pro with a one-time purchase to access advanced forecasting, predictive alerts, capacity planning, workflows, project insights, and provider recommendations.

Runway helps you spend less time checking limits—and more time getting useful work done.
